I was building a larger smoker, and wanted some strong hinges that allowed the door to be removed when needed for cleaning. These fit the bill, were easy to weld on, and have been working well. There is nothing in them that can be damaged from the heat, and they have been working great on the smoker.

A bit smaller than I imagined. Simple solid product.This is a pretty simple product and a simple turning/drilling operation on what looks like hot rolled steel. It is also basically stock that is drilled 5/8 on one side and turned down on the other.It a pretty handy idea for a hinge.I had intended this for gate hinges but I think they are a bit light for that. These would be great for fabricating steel cabinet hinges for example.Totally meets the listing. As for value you have to compare time spent fabricating your own vs these at $5/pair. Seems like good value to me depending on how much time you have on your hands.5 stars. No complaints.

These aren't perfect tolerances, but they'll definitely work for my projects. First one is the lid on my steel trailer toolbox. Just the right size and price per hinge.

First It said 8 pcs. So I thought I would get 4 total hinges.... Nope its 8 total hinges, totaling 16 pcs.... I was so conditioned to companies including every screw or whatever as a pc in a kit, that I misunderstood what I was receiving. Now I can build more gates!!-Very smooth operation, my one complaint would be not having a hole for grease zerks for continued smooth operation.-Nicely made hinges and the ability to be able to buy these ready made, rather than having to make them myself is amazing.-I will be using these to make 2 gates so far. One exterior gate for dogs, that i will add zerks to them, and one for interior use for keeping my baby boy from getting to areas he shouldn't be yet.After those two will be fixing my motorcycle trailer gate hinges, because they didn't have zerks.........

Indeed this is a lot of 8 full hinges which are perfect for my steel gate project at the house here. In all Ill be using 6 of these hinges on three gates that I am getting ready to weld up. I like that the pin is ever so much longer than the hole so theres less friction. The machine tolerances seem good for allowing ample grease to fill the hinge and stay there. But as others have suggested I may drill out the hole sides of these and add a grease zerk fitting to them. Honestly I mean its a gate and I have got two similar gates with similar hinges that have been working fine for more than 10 years with no lubrication at all, so I may be overthinking this whole need for grease thing Bottom line, nicely made hinges at a nice price.
